ITINERARY

DAY 1

Maputo

Olá! Maputo is the capital of Mozambique on the east coast of Africa. It is an Indian Ocean port with preserved Portuguese colonial architecture.

Tonight dinner is an evening of delicious seafood and Mozambican hospitality. Mozambique is famous for its peri-peri chicken and prawns basted with a sauce made from hot African chillies.

DAY 2

Maputo National Park

After breakfast, a road transfer to Futi Gate, Maputo National Park (1hr 30mins). From there we take the 4×4 vehicles for our game drive into the Park, a stunning combination of plains, swamps, prairies, mountain ranges and coastal dune forests.

Discover the rich biodiversity of the Park, home to an ever growing array of wildlife. Be on the lookout for elephants, giraffe, hippo, zebra, wildebeest, crocodile and an abundance of bird species offering unparalleled opportunities for wildlife sightings and photography.

Arrive at Milabangala Resort, a perfect combination between nature and sophistication. End off the day with a sundowner at the pool deck followed by a welcome dinner at the restaurant.

DAY 3

Milibangalala

Enjoy an early morning walk along the beach and relax by the pool. November is a great time to visit Mozambique, as it is both whale season, (which is July-Nov) and nesting season for the turtles, (Oct-Nov).

In the evening we take the 4×4 vehicles to the look out point where we can enjoy the views of both bush and beach whilst sipping cocktails. If we are lucky we will witness some incredible sightings of two of the world’s largest mammals, elephant and whale.
